We are passionate about staying up to date on the newest and most efficient plumbing systems. We know that most homeowners do not think about these things unless an emergency replacement is needed or during a remodeling project. Which can make it overwhelming to keep up with the latest trends and technology. When considering a replacement there are two versions to select, Tanked and Tankless. Here we provide helpful information on the benefits of Tankless water heaters.
Saving money over time, you’ll be using less energy (no water waste either) which can help cut costs on your energy bills. The tankless water heater pays for itself in a few years and it's also a great investment for your home's resale value.
You won’t have to worry about flooding while you’re sound asleep at night or while away on vacation. These guys are less inclined to leak because there’s no tank that can crack/burst. Water damage is the leading cause of homeowners’ insurance claims.

With a tankless water heater, you’ll be using less energy (no water waste either) so that means you’re saving money. The tankless water heater pays for itself in a few years - it's also a great investment if you plan to sell your home.
Being energy efficient is why you'll save! The U.S. Department of Energy finds that a tankless water heater is 24% - 34% more efficient than the storage water heaters (using 41 gallons per day). But, if you double that amount, you will still be 8% - 14% more efficient. You can lower your energy footprint by up to 50% by installing a tankless water heater.
You can install the tankless water heater in a small space which is great for apartment or condo living, smaller homes, or rentals. They have “industry best side-to-side clearance” and that means they can be installed in tight spaces.
Tankless water heaters don’t have moving parts that can wear down with use.
Water travels through the tankless unit, gets heated with gas or electricity, and by the time it reaches you it’s hot! The best part? You won’t run out! It stays hot as long as you are running the tap on the hot water setting. This on-demand technology also means there’s no competing with anyone else in the home showering at the same time as you. Even if the dishwasher is running and a load of whites are in the washing machine, you’ll still have hot water for your comfort and needs. No more getting up super early to be first in the shower in order to have all the hot water to yourself.

This efficient plumbing technology is designed to work when the faucet is opened and set to the desired temperature setting, cold water flows into the tankless water heater. A flow sensor inside the water control valve detects the flow and activates the gas burner. The gas burner ignites and heats the water consistently as it passes through the heat exchanger. Then the hot water flows from the TWH out through the open faucet/shower head. When the faucet is shut off, the flow stops detecting water and the unit shuts down right away (this is why money is saved and there’s no water waste).
Because of this fact, TWH are environmentally friendly in this way and also by using less energy as discussed previously.
