Customer had a barbed fitting on there main water line under home blow apart. To fix issue I cut out that section and replaced with a whole house shutoff off in copper. I added a pressure gage on the water heater as well and did an entire home crawl to check for other leaks or to see if anything else was alarming. Found that the water pressure is fluctuating erratically and hitting 90 psi. Home does not have prv or expansion tank.

We disassembled the valve assembly and tried to adjust it but it did not work. I spoke with the customer about replacing the valve and he said he will think about it.
